We are a small, passionate group of Christians, who simply believe that God is at work in Africa and we want to be His hands. Our lead guides have vast African travel experience and all the necessary qualifications, such as First Aid, Heavy Vehicle Licenses and Professional Drivers Permits.

A qualified accountant from a traditional Afrikaans family, Jaco shares a love for the outdoors and sport with his fellow countrymen. Jaco and Leanne have been married for ten years and together they have gained international experience in both the travel industry as well as short term missions. Some of the mission fields they have worked on include those in Mozambique, Angola, Botswana, Peru and in various parts of South Africa. His heart for the people of Africa combined with an holistic approach to the gospel makes his involvement with Cross Country the natural next step. |

Granddaughter of a Methodist minister who came out to South Africa, from the UK, after WW II, daughter to globe trotting parents; Leanne has in her both the passion for travel as well as that of sharing Gods heart with people. She worked as an occupational therapist in the UK for five years before returning to South Africa where she is mom to their toddlers, Isabella and Jake. Jaco & Leanne are currently on staff with YWAM in South Africa. |

A qualified mountain guide and graphic designer, Roger has had a passion for Africa for as long as he can remember. He has spent time on short term missions around the country. After traveling the world for 5 years (extensively in Southern and Eastern Africa), he has “settled” in the shadow of Table Mountain, Cape Town.
Ideal job? Organising adventure with a purpose... What could be more of an adventure than traveling through Africa and what could be a greater purpose than unifying the body and impacting lives.
