As they say, there is more than one way to skin a cat, and that rings true for our trips on offer.
We have carefully selected one of the best routes through South Africa, spanning the diversity of culture and natural beauty - winding through rain forests, semi-deserts and rugged mountains, deserted beaches and wild country roads. Trying to stay off the beaten track as much as possible while still incorporating many of the popular highlights of this diverse country.
Trip Options:
- Two Week Trip
- Three Week Trip

Two Week Trip (The Loop)
This two week circular route is for those who work for slave-masters and can only get away for a fortnight and/or for those who would like to start and finish their journey in Durban, the holiday capital of South Africa (all cities in SA claim this title by the way!)Pickup is in Durban from where we travel to the breathtakingly beautiful Wild Coast. The first few days comprise of team-building and some training courses, including basic Zulu lessons, Cross Cultural Dynamics and HIV/AIDS Awareness.
In-between training we make plenty of time for adventure activities and ‘down time’ to enjoy God’s creation.
We continue our journey in our Overland Truck and head for the awesome peaks of the Drakensberg, the “Barrier of Spears” between South Africa and the mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. Here we serve some of the rural communities outside Underberg. A moving highlight is our involvement with an Aids orphanage. Underberg also offers us plenty of adventure activities and we take a two day break to enjoy some of what this area has on offer. We finish with a debriefing and drop-off in Durban.
Three Week Trip (The Expedition)
The journey begins in the fairest cape of them all, Cape Town. With an early start we head east through vineyards, orchards and the Hugenote tunnel.Taking on some hair-raising mountain passes we head to the lush Garden Route, which boasts some of the most beautiful coastline in the world. Participating in some of the many adventure activities on offer, we get the adrenalin flowing before heading off to the Addo Elephant Park, home of the Big Five.
The first week is spent building and equipping the team. Apart from identifying individual strengths and skills, we use this time to run training courses, ranging from basic Xhosa & Zulu to HIV/AIDS awareness.
After a week of training and plenty of fun we arrive in the Transkei where we work in rural communities. We get involved in hands-on projects as well as school visits and other outreach programs.
After serving this community for five days, we head to the warm waters of the Indian Ocean for a well-deserved rest amidst the rugged beauty of the aptly-named Wild Coast. Then it's up through Pondoland to the awesome peaks of the Drakensberg, bordering the mountain kingdom of Lesotho. There we serve some of the rural communities outside Underberg (five days).
We finish with a debriefing and then drop-off at one of SA's premiere holiday destinations, Durban.
Custom Trips (The DIY)
Part of our vision is to facilitate groups in running their own short-term mission trips. We do this by offering customized trips to anywhere within the borders of South Africa. Our services range from merely providing the Overland Truck and driver, all the way through to planning and running a “tailor-made” outreach trip (including all the logistics and equipment as offered on the scheduled trips).
