We work with numerous communities along our route where you will be exposed to different people, cultures and settings all needing the same thing...the love of Jesus Christ.
Our aim is not to initiate a project and then leave, but rather to build relationships with the local body of Christ, support and encourage what they are involved in and, through them, impact the community.
Rural Communities of South Africa
South Africans love to refer to themselves as “the rainbow nation”. This is indeed a fitting description, not only in terms of the demographic make-up of the country but also with regards to its socio-economic composition. As in many developing countries, South Africa is a land of extremes: from the very wealthy, to the very poor struggling to survive. As we travel from community to community, we will encounter both these worlds, as well as everything in-between.
The South African government, NGOs and other organizations have been working hard at uplifting poorer communities in South Africa. However, due to logistic challenges, most of the work being done is in or near to cities and larger towns. Therefore many rural areas are neglected. It is these rural, less accessible communities that God has put on our hearts and where the focus of our work will be during each trip.

THE TRANSKEI WILD COAST A former homeland during the apartheid era, the Transkei (or Wild Coast) was overlooked and underdeveloped. Remote villages, rolling hills, poor infrastructure, bad roads and subsistence farming characterize the region. The people that inhabit the area are predominately Xhosa. We are involved with various churches and communities along the Wild. Projects ranging from erecting mud houses for church meetings, speaking into schools, gardening and assisting the elderly. |

GARDEN ROUTE The Garden Route is a beautiful and very scenic stretch of the South Africa coast line. It stretches from the Storms River near Port Elizabeth to Mossel Bay in the Western Cape. Boasting many adventurous activities, untouched forests, teaming sea-life and rugged mountains. We are involved in various projects ranging from feeding schemes, HIV/AIDS orphanages, hospital visits and many others. |
